  • Basic Salary: R29,003.73 – R34,079.39 per month

  • Purpose: Provide administrative support to the Manager and the communications team.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist with daily administrative duties.
    • Synchronize calendars and arrange meetings.
    • Compile reports and presentations using Microsoft Office.

    • Help with exhibitions and special events.
  • Requirements:
    • Grade 12 or Office Administration Certificate (NQF Level 4)
    • At least 3 years’ administration experience

2. Administrator: Health and Safety (B5 Band)

  • Purpose: General administrative and office support functions for the Health and Safety Division.

    • Assist with office functions and support the Manager.

  • Location: ERWAT Head Office

  • Purpose: Manage wastewater treatment plants and systems ensuring legal compliance and risk management.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and manage budgets for capital and operational needs.
    • Ensure compliance with legislation like Labour Law, Water Act, and OHS Act.
    • Maintain communication within the district and with subsidiaries.
    • Report on performance standards to management.
  • Requirements:
    • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Water Care, or related field (BSc Eng, B-Tech, or BSc Hons Microbiology/Chemistry). Business degree advantageous.
    • 15 years’ relevant experience, including 5 years in management.

4. Electrician (C2 Band)

  • Basic Salary: R33,031.04 – R44,200.63 per month
  • Location: Hartebeestfontein Plant

  • Purpose: Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on wastewater and water treatment equipment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems including PLC and SCADA.
    • Execute planned maintenance schedules and emergency repairs.
    • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Requirements:
    • Electrical Trade Test N2 or equivalent
    • Preferably completed electrician apprenticeship
    • Code EB Driver’s License
