Duties and Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer at The FIX, you will be central to the creative process that drives product design, brand authenticity, and market relevance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating directly with Designers and Retail Buyers to develop trending, brand-aligned graphics.
- Designing for both ladieswear and menswear, including expertise in all-over and repeat prints.
- Ensuring designs meet TFG D&M’s quick response timelines and production requirements.
- Providing test options for new product categories and refreshing existing product lines.
- Preparing user-friendly, production-ready graphic files for outwork suppliers.
- Monitoring weekly sales and consumer trends to keep The FIX products fresh and in demand.
- Meeting retail customers’ quality and authenticity standards.
This role requires versatility as you may also be tasked with graphic design needs for other brands within the TFG D&M structure.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need:
- A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Trend.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a clothing Graphic Designer within fashion manufacturing or retail.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity and technical skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
