Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Clerk in the Gauteng Gfleet Department, you will be tasked with a variety of essential duties that play a key role in ensuring smooth operations within the department. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Capturing Chauffeur Services Requisitions

  • Trip Requests: Capture and process chauffeur trip requests.
  • Monitor Pending List: Regularly check and update the pending list.
  • Allocate Requisitions: Distribute the requisitions to the appropriate teams for action.
  • Service Confirmation: Confirm the chauffeur services to be rendered to clients.

2. Managing Vehicle License Discs

  • License Disc Checks: Ensure that expired license discs are identified and processed.
  • Record Management: Keep a detailed record of all received and distributed license discs to users.

3. Dispatch and Receipt of Vehicles

  • Service-Related Documentation: Verify all necessary documentation related to vehicle services.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct inspections on vehicles before dispatching them to clients.

4. Chauffeur Services and Information Management

  • Web-Based Fleet Information System (FIS): Use the FIS to monitor chauffeur trips and maintain daily chauffeur activity records.
  • Chauffeur Trip Monitoring: Keep track of captured trips and their status.
