What is This Opportunity About?
The eDumbe Local Municipality is offering 5 Financial Internship positions within its Finance Department. This is a 2-year contract internship that comes with an all-inclusive remuneration of R115,000 per annum. No prior experience is required – which makes it perfect for recent graduates.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with Accountancy as a subject.
- A relevant qualification: This includes a National Certificate in Accounting, a 3-year B.Com degree, or a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Financial Management.
- Computer Literacy: Must be comfortable using computers and have good communication and analytical skills.
- Age Group: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Unemployed Graduates: The opportunity is only open to those who are currently not employed.
- No experience required: This internship is meant to give first-time experience.
- Local Preference: Candidates from the local community will be given preference.
- Work Supervision: Interns will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

- Developing Finance and Budget Policies
