The Gauteng Provincial Treasury has officially announced the opening of its Internship Programme for the 2025–2027 intake. This 24-month opportunity is specifically designed for unemployed South African graduates seeking to gain structured, practical work experience within the provincial government. The programme will be based in Johannesburg and offers a monthly stipend of R7 860.50 to successful candidates.
Importantly, this opportunity is only open to applicants who have never previously participated in a public service internship.

The closing date for applications is 30 May 2025 at 00:00 midnight. Applications must be submitted via email only, with each post requiring a specific reference number and subject line. Applicants are advised to use the correct reference number as listed for each internship position. Incomplete or misdirected applications will not be considered.
Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified supporting documentation, which means there is no need to include certified copies of qualifications and ID documents at the initial stage. However, a completed and signed Z83 form, and a comprehensive CV are required for all applications.
