Qualifications and Experience Required
Candidates for this position must meet specific educational, certification, and experience requirements to be eligible for consideration. These include:
- A Grade 12 qualification (matric).
- IFSAC Accredited Certification.
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter II Certification.
- Firefighting Training with at least 2 to 3 years of related experience.
- A valid Code C1 driver’s license with a PrDP.
- Advanced driving experience (advantageous).
- First Aid Levels 1 to 3.
- EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) certification.
- Hazmat experience and knowledge.
