Who Can Apply:

- Must have Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Level 4.
- Should speak at least two official languages, one being English.
- No criminal record.
- Certificate in food preparation or catering is an added advantage.
- Must be able to operate basic kitchen equipment.
- Must be willing to work extra hours when needed.
Duties Include:
- Preparing and cooking meals.
- Planning menus and setting up the kitchen.
- Managing food stock and mess supplies.
- Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic.
- Serving food and offering waiter services.
2. Food Service Aid (8 Posts Available)
- Salary: R138,486 per year
- Reference: 2/11/2025 HRD
- Location: SAPS Academy Philippi, Western Cape
Who Can Apply:
- South African citizens.
- Grade 10 preferred.
- Must read, write and communicate well.
- Must be able to operate basic equipment.
- Willing to work long hours when required.
Duties Include:
- Helping with food preparation and serving refreshments.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and dining halls.
- Keeping the work area neat and tidy.
3. Food Service Supervisor (1 Post Available)
- Salary: R193,359 per year
- Reference: 3/11/2025 HRD
- Location: SAPS Academy Philippi, Western Cape
Who Can Apply:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Grade 10 is an advantage.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in food service.
- Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills needed.
- Must be prepared to work extra hours.
Duties Include:
- Supervising food preparation and serving.
- Overseeing food service staff.
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Handling administrative tasks related to catering.
