Key Responsibilities
As a Social Media Specialist and Copywriter, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the implementation of the Free State Legislative Office’s direct marketing objectives.
- Engaging with voters and audiences across social media platforms and other communication channels.
- Developing targeted social media and online advertising campaigns.
- Creating visually appealing marketing materials in line with brand guidelines.
- Ensuring all shared content maintains high-quality standards in grammar, accuracy, and strategic relevance.

Minimum Requirements

Work Experience
- At least three years of experience managing social media for brands.
- Proven experience in proofreading in provincial languages.
- Strong graphic design, video editing, and photography skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator (advantageous).
- Proficient computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite and Zoom.
Additional Requirements
- Fluency in English and one other provincial language.
- A valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for daily use.
